UK vs. the World 1
Finally, we had an international edition of All Stars.
After years of fans clamoring for it, we finally got our first international All Stars variant. Called UK vs. The World, the season promised to feature top-tier queens from across the franchise competing on the same stage. While it did produce some high-level work, particularly from queens like Drag Race Thailand co-host Pangina Heals, Canada’s Drag Race fan favorite Jimbo, and Drag Race Holland runner-up Janey Jacké, it also became perhaps the most cutthroat season of Drag Race we’ve ever seen. Pangina’s choice to eliminate Jimbo came at a heavy cost, as UK Season 1 alum Blu Hydrangea eliminated her the very next week. Blu rode the momentum from that big move all the way to the end, earning the crown after a short, incredibly divisive season.
