Canada’s Drag Race discards the vs. The World format for a full All Stars run.
What a delight Canada’s Drag Race All Stars turned out to be! Though it was only six episodes, this fierce, hungry cast took us on a journey, embracing the voting-based elimination format to make cutthroat decisions and great TV. The early eliminations of frontrunners like Jackie Cox and Pythia might’ve threatened to derail other seasons. But this cast, particularly the final four, kept the drag standard high and the entertainment flowing throughout. Though one could hold out hope that an underdog like Nearah Nuff or Sami Landri might be able to eke out a win, the result was crystal clear: like Chad Michaels before her, Aurora Matrix went from Season 4 runner-up to All Stars 1 champion.
