How did a second run of the Tournament of All Stars improve upon the first?
The second run of the Tournament of All Stars in All Stars 11 had a lot to prove: could this format work more effectively than it did the first time? True, the first two brackets of All Stars 10 had been fun, but the back half of that season fell apart in a major way. This time around, things started slower, with the first bracket being just okay. But a banger ending to the second bracket and a truly incredible third gave this season a ton of momentum going into the semifinals. Unfortunately, the strange choice to give frontrunner and eventual winner Crystal Methyd a significant amount of plot armor stifled the season. It was a better outing, and probably in the top half of All Stars seasons, but production is still struggling to land the plane.
